We still can't get over the fact that Sasha is dead. But, let's be thankful that she at least survived for the final season and we could visually perceive her as a grown-up.

 

 

Pristinely, Sasha was supposed to die in the second season while fighting a titan unarmed in her hometown.

 

 

 

But, when the editor reads Isayama's storyboard, he admitted that he went to the bathroom and commenced crying. Later, he persuaded Isayama to let Sasha live a little longer and they came up with a story where Sasha heroically preserves a girl whose mother was gradually eaten by a titan. But, they could not preserve her for long and she was determinately killed off by Gabi.

 

 

To be veracious, sudden deaths of such consequential characters is authentically devastating, but that is what makes Attack on Titan so authentic and special. It is genuinely inequitable and fictitious when all the main characters survive while leaving only nugatory characters to die. So, I cerebrate what they did was for the best. If not Sasha it would definitely have been someone else.
