After the ending of one-hour-long Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 11, fans are highly anticipating the upcoming season of the series. The animation studio of Demon Slayer, ufotable, has revealed that the 'Hashira Training Arc' from the Demon Slayer manga will be animated for the Season 4 series.

 

ufotable teased the fans with the visual of the characters that will play the main roles in the upcoming season. All Hashira members, except for the Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku, were shown in the teaser. In the upcoming season, we will witness Stone Pillar Gyomei Himejima, Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro in action. We will also see Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji from Season 3.

 

The character designer and chief animation designer Akira Matsushima created the Season 4 visual teaser. He is the same artist who designed Demon Slayer’s previous seasons and the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie.

 

The Hashira Training Arc is the tenth story arc of Demon Slayer, and the upcoming season will adapt the events from Chapters 128 to 136 of the manga.

 

The release date for Season 4 has yet to be revealed by ufotable, but it’s more likely to premiere in Fall 2023.

 

 

Synopsis

 

Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for future battles. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding. Earning Himejima's approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won't give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues searching for Nezuko and Ubuyashiki's location.
